Roc Ridge
Walkers is a small farm dedicated to raising and selling true
gaited natural walking horses. Specializing in gentle and willing
horses that are a joy to own and ride. All foals are imprinted at
birth and gently handled and trained to have respect for their people.
All riding horses have lots of
trail experience plus are used by me at pointing dog field trials.
This gives them a world more experience in riding through mud, water,
rocks, fields and woods, up and down mountains, etc alone and in large
groups. They have dogs running past them as well as popping out of
brush near them. They stand quietly while guns are fired.
They have been trailered long distances and stay overnight with no
problems.
In short, they've had a
lot more experiences than your average trail horse and accept more
without fuss, all while staying smooth gaited and relaxed. Contact
