Pretty dappled palomino with a heart
of gold. Used last summer and this summer as a project horse for a
group home program. The teenage boys from the home had no horse
experience before working with Wilbur. They led him through obstacle
course, did his round pen training, and introduced him to saddle and
bridle. He willingly accepted the sometimes inconsistent cues and
always stayed gentle and willing. He
inspired confidence in the boys who were afraid of horses.

Doing well with his riding, very calm
and willing. While still green he accepts new things without fuss.
Excellent potential for trail with his unflappable disposition.
Friendly, walks right up looking for attention. Stands for grooming,
even clipping his bridle path, without halter or lead rope.
Has gaited naturally since foaled. He
and his dam represented TWH at a gaited open house held by Paso Fino
farm. The expert Paso Fino trainer from Columbia came up afterwards
and exclaimed how impressed he was with his gait at 3 months old.
Quality horse with golden disposition and coat. |
