Mill Creek Stables is
located in Loretto, TN, 90 miles southwest of Nashville near the TN / Al
line, we are a very small operation (a core of three mares and a
stallion) and each of our horses are very special. Each foal
receives loving attention (imprinting) from the moment of birth and
matures into a friendly, approachable horse that enjoys human company.
In fact, most of them don’t wait to be approached-they come to greet
you!

Our palomino stallion
Maximum Midnight Gold,
was one of the gentlest
fellows around; after all, he was born and raised right here at Mill
Creek. His sire is the well advertised Ace’s Silver N’ Gold. Max
was a stunning gold
color and sported a classic natural gait that he passed to all of his foals. |

Our beautiful brood mares represent some of
the oldest and grandest lines of Tennessee walking horses. Our
sorrel sabino mare, Missy F88, for example, is the granddaughter of
Merry Boy F88 and shows Roan Allen and Merry Legs on her papers.
Imprinting, leading, and loading are all
part of the everyday training here at our stables, and all our horses
down to the youngest know exactly what they’re expected to do.
Still, our foals have plenty of room to run, play, and simply be horses
when they’re not being trained. And we make sure that we don’t
cross the line between being well trained and handled and becoming a
hard to deal with pet. All of our horses are wormed and vaccinated
on a regular basis.

We believe you can’t go wrong when you
raise horses with an abundance of love and attention from the day
they’re born. We’ve never raised a foal that didn’t grow into a
calm, sweet, highly trainable adult.
