Wyatt is an extremely powerful square
moving horse with a gentle sensitive mind. Most importantly, it is a
joy to ride this 5 year old 15.2 hand sorrel gelding. Wyatt has been
getting a make-over from being a plantation show horse to being a
solid dependable mountain trail horse. He has taken to this like few
other horses I have had the privilege to train. He has the most kind
eye and willing heart that I have seen in a while.
Wyatt is a horse that you can feel the power in his back as he goes
into a running walk or transitions into a lope. He also has the back
end and athleticism to stop on a dime. And as they say give you some
change... Wyatt's over-stride is about 15" at a flat walk.
Wyatt loads calmly and consistently.
He clips, washes, hobbles, pickets, high-lines, stands for the
farrier, and packs. We are presently working on him pulling a cart
which will be done in the next 30 days.
Wyatt's actual trail experience is not
where it should and will be. He is calm on the trail and has
experienced, people, dogs and dog teams, bikes, 4-wheelers, elk
deer, and coyotes on the trail. The miles on the trail are happening
now.
If you are looking for a solid,
powerful and kind horse, Wyatt should be given a very serious look.
He is a great example of what Gen's Armed and Dangerous has
produced.
